Anglican Deanery of Kent

Kent Deanery is made up of 19 congregations formed into 10 parishes.   It is one of the 13 deaneries of the Anglican Diocese of Huron in southwestern Ontario.

Parish of Rondeau Bay

Blenheim, Rondeau Park, Erieau The 3-point parish is made up of Trinity Church, 59 Ellen Street, Blenheim, St. Paul's Church, Ross Lane, Erieau and Grace Church, Rondeau Park.   The Rev. David Fuller has been rector since February 2007.

Thamesville, Aughrim, RidgetownThe parish was formed in 2002 and consists of:

St. John's-in-the-Woods, Aughrim
Christ Church, Dresden
St. Matthew's Church, Fansher Road, Florence
Church of the Redeemer, 344 Victoria St., Highgate
Church of the Advent, 20 Church Street, Ridgetown
St. Stephen's Church, 143 London Street, Thamesville.

Each of the red brick buildings is over 100 years old. The rector is based in Ridgetown, the largest community with a population just over 3000

Apart from Highgate each of the congregations have their own parish hall open for the use of community groups and families.

Tilbury and Comber

Tilbury and Comber, Ontario The parish consists of St. Andrew's Church, 28 Prospect Street, Tilbury and Church of the Ascension, Taylor Avenue, Comber.   Rev. Robert Parker was appointed Incumbent (part time) September 1, 2007.

Wallaceburg and Port Lambton

The parish consists of St. James the Apostle, Wallaceburg and St. James, Port Lambton. The rector is Rev. Len Myers.

St. John the Baptist, Walpole Island

St. John the Baptist, Walpole Island, OntarioWalpole Island is located in the mouth of the St. Clair River on Lake St. Clair.

Rev. Paul Woolley, was appointed Incumbent (part-time) to St. John the Baptist, Walpole Island, effective September 1, 2008.   He began this new ministry in addition to his ministry at St. Stephen's, Courtright, Ontario.
